Frequently asked questions

The easiest way to get a drawing and price would be to send over your dimensions, any additional extras required and delivery location (if applicable) to sales@woodandstairs.co.uk(sales@woodandstairs.co.uk.) One of our team will then produce a drawing and quotation for you to check over.

The dimensions we require from you are; - Post height from either floor or dwarf wall - Overall height from floor/dwarf wall to top of roof pitch - Overall width (outside of posts) - Overall depth If you also have a desired pitch for the roof please let us know.

The 3 main dimensions we require are; - Finished floor to finished floor height -Horizontal going length -Staircase width If you are having trouble letting us know the length just let us know the overall height, we can then produce a drawing which will conform to current building regulations.

Lead times on our products vary by type and material. For staircases; - Pine/MDF stairs usually take around 2 weeks to manufacture. - Oak staircases usually take around 3-4 weeks to manufacture. For Green oak porches/canopies; - Set size products take around 2-3 weeks to manufacture. - Bespoke products take around 8-9 weeks to manufacture. Please note that these times are estimates and can be slightly longer during busier periods.

We are currently able to deliver around England and Wales for an additional cost. Our products are also available to collect once completed from our workshop in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

Unfortunately as we are a supply only company we are unable to offer site measuring and installation services.
